Can you attach dmesg and acpidump, please. Not sure whether we still have the ACPI proc interface which vanished recently. Rui: What is the best way to monitor fan/thermal values with sysfs?
opensuse 11.3 overheats toshiba laptop because the fan does not come on when it is supposed to. 11.2 has the same issue. Is there any Linux kernel/dist that already did work we could compare with?
