The expectation was to switch to that console once it becomes available. I left this console switching limited to s390x in sle15-sp4 but made it arch independent on tw. I have no problem to limit it to s390x also in tw. But I wanted to see what happens and if there are cases where this switching has bad side effects. In general, the option only has an effect if no explicit console option is used. So basically x86 should not work differently than before.
