https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=707035 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=707035#c4 --- Comment #4 from Terje J. Hanssen <terje@nordland-teknikk.no> 2011-07-21 09:50:03 UTC --- The boot messages I noticed on the consol were: Starting acpid: failed Failed in run level 5: acpid pcscd and lastly Master Resource Control: Running /etc/init.d/after.local The system looks to freeze if I select the console with Ctrl-Alt-F1 before login to Gnome. After login to Gnome, the following consol messages are added on the display: Master Resource Control: runlevel 5 has been reached Failed services in runlevel 5: pcscd Welcome to openSUSE - kernel 2.6.39.3-37-desktop (tty1) login: Then after some minutes the following messages are bumped to and fill the screen: FIBMAP: Invalid argument repetedly, and lastly Boot logging started on /dev/tty1 (/dev/console) at <time> Master Resource control: previously runlevel: 5 switching to runlevel ......6 and then freeze The same last section happends when Restart or Shut down are executed from Gnome. I have to do a manual hard Power Off and On to start again. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
