http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=616756 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=616756#c3 --- Comment #3 from Luiz Fernando Ranghetti <elchevive68@gmail.com> 2010-06-24 10:53:54 UTC --- Hi, I found this two strings while translating troubleshoothing.xml: Linux reports things in a very detailed way. There are several places to look when you encounter problems with your system, most of which are standard to Linux systems in general, and some of which are relevant to &productname; systems. The two most important system logs (<filename>/var/ log/boot.msg</filename> and <filename>/var/log/messages</filename>) can be viewed with &yast; (<menuchoice> <guimenu>Miscellaneous</guimenu> <guimenu>Start-Up Log</guimenu> </menuchoice> or <menuchoice> <guimenu>Miscellaneous</guimenu> <guimenu>System Log</guimenu> </ menuchoice>). The output of the commands you request: elchevive@dhcppc9:~> grep Start-Up /usr/share/applications/YaST2/*desktop /usr/share/applications/YaST2/bootmsg.desktop:Name=Start-Up Log elchevive@dhcppc9:~> grep "System Log" /usr/share/applications/YaST2/*desktop /usr/share/applications/YaST2/messages.desktop:Name=System Log elchevive@dhcppc9:~> rpm -qf /usr/share/applications/YaST2/bootmsg.desktop yast2-repair-2.18.3-3.10.noarch elchevive@dhcppc9:~> rpm -qf /usr/share/applications/YaST2/messages.desktop yast2-repair-2.18.3-3.10.noarch So its module yast2-repair which should/will be removed in 11.3 and the interesting think is that its installed in my computer. (probably due the update method I'm using: zypper dup) Regards -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
