https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=257345 ------- Comment #2 from one_way@online.de 2007-03-26 08:44 MST ------- Well, until a few days ago I didn't have this behaviour, so I don't see why this annoying behaviour should be really necessary ;). Suggestion/questions: The camera isn't registering itself as two devices - why should it? - it is falsely recognized as two devices by the OS. This is IMHO to be considered as an error. Why is the "camera:/" ioslave available at all, if the kdegraphics-kamera RPM needed to handle it isn't even installed? (gphoto is, however, installed, as digiKam relies on it). This would be different from all other additional ioslaves. And, even if kdegraphics-kamera would be installed, why does the "camera:/" ioslave "feel responsible" for a modern digital camera which registers as a mass storage device? AFAIK gphoto explicitely doesn't handle this kind of digicams, so adding another dependency doesn't solve the problem. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
