https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=790367 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=790367#c0 Summary: Banshee crashes constantly after upgrading to GNOME 3.6 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.2 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 12.2 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: admin@damienradtke.org QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0 I'm running openSUSE 12.2 with GNOME 3.6 installed from the GNOME:STABLE:3.6 repository, and every time Banshee tries to switch songs, it crashes with a segfault. Running with --debug doesn't provide any additional information, other than the segfault occurs right after changing the player state from Loaded to Playing. I have a strong suspicion that it's the same bug as what's being reported here: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/32390 https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1193989 Tested with GNOME 3.6, GConf 3.2.5, and Banshee 2.4.1. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install openSUSE 12.2 with GNOME 2. Upgrade to GNOME 3.6 via the GNOME:STABLE:3.6 repository 3. Run Banshee, then start playing a song Actual Results: Banshee crashes after the song finishes. Expected Results: Banshee should continue playing, or revert back to Idle. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
