https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=734748 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=734748#c0 Summary: yast2-branding-basedonopensuse does not symlink /usr/share/YaST2/theme/current Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: mat@mshopf.de QAContact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0 The yast2-branding-basedonopensuse package does not symlink /usr/share/YaST2/theme/current to openSUSE-current, but creates an empty directory instead. While this may be intended, this has e.g. the effect, that yast2 live-installer does not find it's world map any longer. I assume there are more equally subtle effects... The main question is whether current should be dynamically symlinked (and the packaged directory is just a bug), or whether this is intended behavior. In the later case the question remains how to deal with this behavior. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Don't install yast2-branding-openSUSE, but yast2-branding-basedonopensuse 2. Install yast2 live installer 3. Run "yast2 live-installer" Actual Results: World map is not shown during language selection Expected Results: World map is visible -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
