But when I reboot the machine and I try to login to the system, my screen seems to freeze indefinitely. I have to enter an alt-ctl-f1 to reboot the machine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Edit the /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager with the following options. DISPLAYMANAGER="kdm" DISPLAYMANAGER_SHUTDOWN="none" DISPLAYMANAGER_KDM_THEME="" 2.Edit the /usr/share/kde4/config/kdm/kdmrc with the following options. LogoArea=None GreetString=DOE Warning message GreetFont=Serif,12 UserList=false 3.Reboot the machine. 4.Login to the machine Actual Results: Will display only a background image and the system seems to hang. Expected Results: Should be able to login to the system and see my window manager.
