https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=462705 Summary: ldconfig isn't always run when necessary Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: volker3204@paradise.net.nz QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- oS 11.1 download installation AMD64. New install. Installing kbiff with zypper in kbiff installs only the kbiff package, no other dependencies. Running kbiff doesn't find its library libkdeinit_kbiff.so Running SuSEconfig doesn't fix that problem. The problem is only fixed by explicitly running ldconfig. So far, running SuSEconfig has always put the system in a fully configured state, or has there been a policy change? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
