Hardware is a Pentium-II machine with 512M & NVidia graphics, 80G HD. I selected btrfs in teh partitioner, otherwise basically a default installation. First time (same error) HD had a number of pre-existing partitions, second time I used Alt-F2 and fdisk to delete existing partitions before allowing default partitioning with btrfs. Both times installation proceeded OK until first boot, when I get (typed by hand, please excuse typos): .. fsck ... succeeded mounting root /dev/disk_by_uuid/... mount -o rw,subvol=@ -t btrfs /dev/disk_by_uuid/... mount: /dev/sda2 is not a valid block device could not mount root filesystem - exiting to /bin/sh I will try to retrieve & attach logs via a rescue system boot Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. select btrfs in installer - see above 2. 3. Actual Results: boot fails at rw mount of root partition Expected Results: boot continues as normal -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
