Also, please describe the outputs of your card exactly. Apparently the driver cannot detect the DDC information of the monitor correctly. Please verify that the VGA cable has *all* pins connected, and not some pins missing. As a workaround, you can add Option "monitor-VGA2" "Monitor[0]" to the "Device" section of the xorg.conf. That's the output your monitor is connected to according to your log file.
