Another thought is to only keep the most recent debuginfo package on the update server. So for a given package you'd have at most 2 debuginfo packages, one for the initial install and one for the update. Which leads to the question, why are all versions of a package kept on the server? Why not just the most recent update?
This is already in my planning. I/we make slow progress, this topics involves all products - not only openSUSE. I see no chance to fix it for 10.2. We need to avoid it for 10.3 handing over bug to Coolo for my vacation. I will bring up to date face 2 face! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
