It is a crash while loading a GStreamer module, surprisingly in OpenGL. It's very strange - pidgin uses GStreamer for sounds, not video. Tha crash probably happens while initializing /usr/lib64/gstreamer-0.10/libgstcacasink.so (cacasink: A colored ASCII art video sink). I think, that it may be just during enumeration of all GStreamer modules. And the crash happens during dlopen() call, inside a properietary OpenGL module. Which is your graphic card driver? Could you try to switch to open source drivers and try to reproduce the crash? Does the crash happen only in pidgin, or also other GStreamer based applications crash (totem, command line gst-inspect tool)? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
