https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=458977 User Manfred.Tremmel@iiv.de added comment https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=458977#c396223 Summary: X-Server crashes on Integrated Graphics Chipset: Intel(R) 945GM Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: sndirsch@novell.com ReportedBy: Manfred.Tremmel@iiv.de QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: Beta-Customer I've updated my Dell Latitude D620 last night from factory tree. I hoped this is something similary to 11.1 release (xorg-x11-driver-video-7.4-19.6). First thing I've noted, X-Server doesn't start with my Wacom Graphic tablet (looks like the same as in Bug #396223, same output in /var/log/Xorg.0.log as ). After deactivating it started worked for a while and crashed three times until now. The screen looks like this (using an external Screen here) http://www.knightsoft-net.de/pics/000_0092.JPG Switching back to console doesn't work, restarting X doesn't work, shutdown by ACPI Power button works. Maybe it's the same problem as in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/2852... or http://groups.google.com/group/linux.debian.bugs.dist/browse_thread/thread/d... I've followed the hint to switch to XAA, no crash the last two hours... I've attached /var/log/Xorg.0.log. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
