Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Factory Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: seife@novell.slipkontur.de QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: Community User Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=354778) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=354778) xorg log file with backtrace see the attached logfile. I had to remotely log in and kill the beast with "kill -9". "Standard" Factory installation, X11:Xorg repository added, updated today. "i915.powersave=0" boot parameter because of bug 596844. I played around with the KDE4 desktop effects: the sliding in- and out start menu, the menu of the battery applet and the menu of the "disk mounting applet". I slid them in an out repeatedly. Suddenly the X server locked up, but the mouse cursor was still moving. The animation of my animated mouse cursor stopped. Logfile is attached. I'd say the X server was doing a correct interpretation of the situation ;) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
