https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=250686 Summary: konversation chat window has large minimal size Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: sh@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de The chat window of konversation has a minimal size below which it cannot be resized. You can configure the number of visible lines of that window, but that does not seem to have any effect on that minimal size: The setting gets ignored. See also the attached screen shot. This is very annoying since that window consumes pretty much screen space that way, and you can't reduce that amount of screen space. Worse, if you have a setup like in my screen shot, it's very hard to tell if there were any new messages in the current channel whenever you emptied the channel (Ctrl-L). (Yes, I know Ctrl-R, but sometimes it can be very annoying to have leftover text there all the time - it's much easier to spot anything new if the window is empty by default). I am also pretty sure that the minimal size increased from 10.1 to 10.2. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
