So I downloaded the VMware-player-2.0.2-59824.x86_64.rpm package from the VMware site and installed it. When trying to start it, it says that it has not been configured yet and I need to run /usr/bin/vmware-config.pl. When I do this, it wants to compile the Kernel modules which fails because some conflicts in header files. Maybe this works on 10.3, but apparently not on Factory-x86_64 (which is what I have on my workstation). Then I found that we had packages for these modules and thought that maybe I need to use these but it didn’t work either. So if these packages don’t work and are not needed anymore, I think it is indeed better to delete them from autobuild. I hope I can find some other machine where I can get vmware to work to look at the image I received in bug #381779. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
