http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=559337 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=559337#c0 Summary: gtk2 package does not run SuSEconfig, apparently required! Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jnelson-suse@jamponi.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- I installed gtk2 on a machine which had never had gtk2 installed on it before. I used zypper. However, after installation, no gtk apps worked, many crashed outright. It turns out (after hours) that SuSEconfig had not been run, which calls a bunch of gtk support programs. After this, everything worked fine. A run of these support programs and/or SuSEconfig should be triggered at the end of an install of packages which require them. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
