But it failed to start the emergency mode, repeating the emergency message for hours and days. Thanks. Today I tried to upgrade to Factory. This does not work either. At least the emergency service appears to work now. It suggests to run journalctl -xb. Its output shows that the crypt partition timed out, just as it did for the last months. Or is it a year already? Once I left the shell, much to my surprise, the crypt partition was finally mounted. Perhaps the dependencies are not expressed correctly. Or not at all.
