It's faster to set up vsftpd than apache, and patch and delta rpms are handled from ftp://localhost/path/ on 10.1 and 10.2. Well with 10.2 I've only tried ftp://LANhost/path/, but surely that's not different to ftp://localhost/path/. That ftp thing is only a workaround though, it's not great to have to set up an ftp server just to make yast read a file from local hard disk. Therefore this should be a feature request.
