VIA PadLock encryption is a hardware accelerated encryption support on certain VIA processors. You have an Intel processor, which doesn't support VIA PadLock encryption. This should not be a problem, because the crypto code will fall back to software based encyption, so the error can safely be ignored. So the only minor problem is the scary ERROR message in the logs. This is not a kernel issue, the init scripts should try to detect if PadLock is available, and not try to insert this module if not. I don't know which component is responsible for this, so reasigning back to bnc-team-screening. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
