But it does not have any effect. I have tried the latest rc5 kernel from o:F, but this one seems to make things even a little worse. Watching a movie could result in a frozen screen or even a frozen system. Also when I have enabled a certain KDE desktop effect (wobbly windows), then at a certain moment the desktop screen freezes and the system has a lot of disk activity. Strangely enough I can move the mouse, but the rest of the desktop is frozen. I have tried to switch to a virtual console, kill the Xserver(init3) and then start it again (init5), but this delivers an unstable Xserver with a lot of flickering on the screen. At the moment the most stable kernel would be rc2 (of course still without the hibernation).
