https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=777320 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=777320#c0 Summary: Libreoffice: pre-configured EvolutionLocal database throws error "No SDBC driver was found for the given URL. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: LibreOffice AssignedTo: bnc-team-ooo@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: tsp@lawbiz.ch QAContact: cwei@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=503465) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=503465) Screenshot showing error messages after trying to expand "Tables" User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:14.0) Gecko/20120713 Firefox/14.0.1 SeaMonkey/2.11 The bug as described is observed on openSUSE 12.1 i586 fully updated. Before the latest update LibreOffice Calc did crash instead of showing the error message. The same error message regarding EvolutionLocal is popping up for every access to another database which has been created. Observation: The other pre-configured database "Bibliography" installs 2 additional dBase files, but these are missing for "EvolutionLocal". Snippet from the packet file list: /usr/lib64/libreoffice/presets/database/biblio /usr/lib64/libreoffice/presets/database/biblio.odb /usr/lib64/libreoffice/presets/database/biblio/biblio.dbf /usr/lib64/libreoffice/presets/database/biblio/biblio.dbt /usr/lib64/libreoffice/presets/database/evolocal.odb Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start LibreOffice Calc 2. Press F4 key 3. Expand EvolutionLocal 4. Expand Tables Actual Results: Error message popping up saying: "The connection to the data source "EvolutionLocal" could not be established. No SDBC driver was found for the given URL". Clicking "More" --> "Information" returns another popup window: A connection for the following URL was requested "sdbc:address:evolution:local". Expected Results: Some table shown, similar to the result when expanding the other pre-configured database "Bibliography" (which works). Disabling EvolutionLocal in Tools --> Options --> Databases is temporary only, because it is enabled again after the next restart. rpm -qa | grep libreoffice libreoffice-thesaurus-en-US-20060111-9.1.2.noarch libreoffice-math-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 libreoffice-draw-extensions-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 libreoffice-branding-openSUSE-3.3.1-4.2.1.noarch libreoffice-icon-theme-hicontrast-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.noarch libreoffice-base-drivers-mysql-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 libreoffice-icon-theme-crystal-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.noarch libreoffice-impress-extensions-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 libreoffice-templates-en-3.3-2.1.3.noarch libreoffice-calc-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 libreoffice-help-en-US-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.noarch libreoffice-icon-theme-galaxy-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.noarch libreoffice-hyphen-20110203-7.1.2.noarch libreoffice-templates-presentation-layouts-3.3-2.1.3.noarch libreoffice-writer-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 libreoffice-mailmerge-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 libreoffice-kde4-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 libreoffice-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 libreoffice-calc-extensions-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 libreoffice-writer-extensions-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 libreoffice-templates-labels-a4-1.0.1-2.1.1.noarch libreoffice-converter-3.3-8.1.1.noarch libreoffice-impress-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 libreoffice-base-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 libreoffice-icon-theme-oxygen-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.noarch libreoffice-filters-optional-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 libreoffice-base-extensions-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 libreoffice-templates-labels-letter-1.0.1-2.1.1.noarch libreoffice-draw-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 libreoffice-pyuno-3.5.4.7-4.8.1.x86_64 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
