So, seems fixed upstream. However i advise you if you can report this at kde bugtracker too. P.S. If you can test a theme without shadows and see does that improve the situation, that would confirm my thinking this specifix issue is indeed fixed. I think Aya and maybe Slim-glow don't have any shadows.
