https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=345523 Summary: Wrong time of root (/) filesystem after boot Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: karsten.lengwenus@klscs.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Customer When hardware clock is set to UTC/GMT : time of / filesystem (ls -ld --full-time /) is set to UTC time of boot. Whe hardware clock is set to local time (in this case MEZ/CET, = UTC + 1h) : time of / filesystem (ls -ld --full-time /) is set to local time + difference to UTC (in this case local time + 1h = UTC + 2h) I think this is wrong. The time of / should be the local time of boot time. The file /boot/grub/default has the right time. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
