Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: sadko_sobaka@rambler.ru QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; ru; rv:1.8.1.5) Gecko/20061023 SUSE/2.0.0.5-1.1 Firefox/2.0.0.5 I've turned on keyboard layout switch from EN to RU with Ctrl-Shift key combination in kxkb. When i switched keyboard layout to RU ant left my computer a screensaver has started (GLMatrix). When I returned back and wanted to unlock screensaver I couldn't do that because keyboard layout left to be RU instead of EN. When I tried to switch keyboard layout to EN it didn't happen. Then I tried to find a button which helped me to switch layout in KDE3, and there is NO such button in KDE4. So I had to restart X Server with Ctrl-Alt-Backspace. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Turn kxkb on, set your own keyboard layout switch configuration. 2. Switch to another keyboard layout. 3. Lock screen or wait until it will lock automatically. 4. Try to enter your login password. Expected Results: I didn't find a button that helped me in KDE3 to switch keyboard layout -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
