If R-base is updated in OpenSuse Updates, then RKward must also be updated, because it needs to be compiled against the system's R version. Not doing so results in breakage in Rkward (e.g. "Error in RK()" when plotting data), rendering the software close to useless.
May I recommend some packaging improvements to prevent further failures? #1 make the run-time requirement explicit ( %requires_eq ) #2 If the two packages always go together, move them into a multi-spec container -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
