On a host with local users, it works so far.
But I'm using sssd and krb5. lightdm does not show any users, until they log in at text console (then they appear in the list and I can select one).
It never shows the "login:", just the "passswd:" prompt only, what makes it almost unusable.
I'm using default config: [LightDM] user-authority-in-system-dir=true
[SeatDefaults] xserver-command=/usr/bin/X session-wrapper=/etc/X11/xdm/Xsession greeter-setup-script=/etc/X11/xdm/Xsetup session-setup-script=/etc/X11/xdm/Xstartup session-cleanup-script=/etc/X11/xdm/Xreset
[XDMCPServer]
[VNCServer]
Basically I don't need / want a user list at all. I've tried to set the greeter-show-manual-login option, but it seems to ignore it.
That's not correct, you need to set greeter-hide-users=true in [SeatDefaults] in order to hide the user list. Can you try to deinstall the accountsservice package and see if that changes anything? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
