I entered "1.25 g/m/m" as a column heading in C6, then moved down to C9 to start entering data. As soon as I enter a "1", Calc tries to add the ".25 g/m/m". This is the point at which I took the screenshot. Hitting ESC does not cancel word completion, it cancels the entire transaction. In order to enter just a "1" in C9, I need to accept this (or type something else), then go back and re-edit it in the formula bar above.
