Created attachment 822217 [details] Debugging output of various sorts
After updating to Build 20191016 I started having issues with Brave, Chromium, Firefox, and anything Electron-based as well. Anything Chromium-based started segfaulting on X11, yet they were fine on Wayland, and they did not produce any crash report or error report or anything of the sort. Attached here are some of the relevant debugging output figured out courtesy of the help of /u/Vogtinator over at /r/OpenSUSE and the problem seems to be related to the GTK appmenu (Global Menu I believe).
Here are some other hwinfo if they are relevant: Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20191018 KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.63.0 Qt Version: 5.13.1 Kernel Version: 5.3.6-1-default OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz Memory: 7,6 GiB of RAM
I have yet to check out whether removing the relevant culprits solves this issue, and I will update it here if it does.
Yep removing appmenu and related packages fixed the issue. Should I close this issue or should I keep it up just in case someone else is also suffering from this bug? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
