https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=655141 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=655141#c0 Summary: KDE Shutdown button doesn't power off machine with Systemd Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Factory Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: u.buckesfeld@web.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 SUSE/3.6.12-1.1 Firefox/3.6.12 "init 0" works as expected and powers down the laptop, but using the KDE 4 buttons ends with a "system halted" on the terminal. The machine then needs a hard reset. Note that this happens since I started using Systemd instead of Sysinit. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. use Systemd to start the machine into runlevel 5, KDE 4 2. Try to power down the machine, either via launcher, Leave, Shutdown or via a plasma widget Actual Results: Machine doesn't power off. Expected Results: Machine should be powered off. It does get powered off when root issues a "init 0". -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
