https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=727245 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=727245#c0 Summary: YaST2 KDE Installer has Update option nested too far in menu Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jmeidal@worldimpact.org QAContact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0 In order to update available packages I need to click (3 times) through the menu too many times. I would like to see the basic update option available as a button always available, or in a more simple location. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open YaST2 KDE "Install/Remove Software" app 2. click through Top Menu 3. click "Package" Menu 4. click "All Packages" Menu 5. click "Update if newer version is available" option Actual Results: These steps reveal package updates. Expected Results: I would like to see a more intuitive and more basic way for this to be followed. I feel the GNOME gui presents this in a much more accessible format. Can a button for this function simply be added to the screen? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
