http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1205788 Bug ID: 1205788 Summary: Packagekit not updating KDE's "Software Updates" icon after updates have been applied Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE Applications Assignee: opensuse-kde-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: m_mlk@yahoo.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 863131 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=863131&action=edit Screenshots showing the process KDE's Software Updates show outdated information after patches/updates have been installed. Always reproducible. 1. KDE's Software Updates informs about n-packages available to be installed 2. Upgrade the RPMs by either using Discover or from the CLI with "zypper dup" 3. Software Updates will still show "You have n new updates" and doesn't disappear after the updates are completed This works flawlessly in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, for example (my work laptop). When "apt upgrade" finishes, the Software Updates icon is turned off from the KDE system tray. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
