https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=421285 Summary: DHCP via dhcpd not working in current factory Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Factory Platform: 64bit OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: one_way@online.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- My factory installation needs both dhcpd and dhcp-client (for what reason, btw???) It seems as if only dhcpd (3.2.3-26) is used to get an IP adress. However, without any other change in the network, dhcpd simply fails. On the other hand, starting dhcp-client manually works without flaws.
