https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=307038 Summary: latest factory (31.8.2007) fails to boot soft raid Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 2 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: marvin24@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- since I updated to latest factory, my raid does not boot anymore. I have a raid5 array and a lvm on top of it, where my root file system lies (/boot is on raid0). I examined this a little bit and found out, that mdadm -A can activate the raid because the partitions are busy. Something like: mdadm: cannot open device /dev/sda2: device or resource busy. mdamd: /dev/sda2 has wrong UUID same holds for sd[bcd]2 is there a way to find out why? I can activate the raid in rescue system without problems. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
