I just tested it in a Leap 15.1 Beta. More precisely, * Add the KDE Extra[1] repo * Go to Yast2 -> Software Management * Click on View -> Repositories * Go to Repositories tab * Select the KDE Extra * Click on "Switch system package" hyperlink at the beginning of package list. YaST displays a Warning pop up asking for what to do for each already installed package (keep obsolete or change the vendor, mostly). I am not sure that this is a regression or an expected behavior. Nevertheless, I am going to upload the YaST logs and also try to test it in an openSUSE 42.3.
