https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=743601 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=743601#c0 Summary: brasero fails to copy audio cds due to missing cdda2wav Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: ohering@suse.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Outsourced Testing Blocker: --- 12.1-x86_64 with updates, gnome desktop brasero fails to copy audio cds due to missing cdda2wav According to google thats a common bug. "zypper in cdda2wav" installs icedax, but icedax fails to behave like cdda2wav. "zypper se -s -d cdda2wav" shows cdrkit-cdrtools-compat, so "zypper in cdda2wav" has to install exactly that package, which in turn could also pull in icedax. Now brasero still fails because according to some patch attached to some ubuntu bug it calls cdda2wav --version and expects a certian text. But with the fake-cdda2wav binary the output differs and brasero fails to run. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
