Apparently, 12.1 has added /var/tmp/ to TMP_DIRS_TO_CLEAR in /etc/sysconfig/cron. I was quite surprised when I found out today that I've lost a few GB of data, which used to be safe there.
$ tail -2 /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/tmp.conf d /tmp 1777 root root 10d d /var/tmp 1777 root root 30d That tells systemd to clear files older than 10 resp 30 days in those directories. systemd does not honor TMP_DIRS_TO_CLEAR. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
