I did not want to step on anyone's role.
You certainly didn't. This is a long-standing problem (and also has been reported here a few times already), but so far nobody bothered to do anything about it. The openSUSE* themes stem from old KDE4 times and are mostly unchanged since then. I did have it in the back of my head to work on the themes since quite a while, but never came round to fix them either (there's always something else to do, most of the time "more important)... :-/). And I'm not an artist anyway, creating missing icons would probably not be something I'd want to do.
If further help is required from my end, feel free to reach out to me.
Well, the main problem is probably time here. Your help and/or some work on the openSUSE* themes would definitely be welcome. Ideally, you'd submit your modified files on guthub though I think: https://github.com/openSUSE/plasma-opensuse My only "concern" is that if we replace the theme's icons with the ones from Oxygen, we could just as well drop the theme completely, as Oxygen is available anyway. OTOH, just replacing the network icons would definitely be better then the current state of course, even if the style is different from the other icons included. Unless someone still would want to create the missing icons based on the existing ones... PS: my previous comment was not correct (it's been a while since I last looked at the themes...). The additional icons I was thinking of are only available in the openSUSElight theme (in completely unused files, but also in the proper ones), but those use a completely different style anyway, so that's not of much use here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
