http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=962080 Bug ID: 962080 Summary: After a systemd update, unable to enter the passphrase for encrypted partitions Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: nicolas.surribas@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Hello, I'm running openSUSE 13.2 x86_64. My /home partition is encrypted and the passphrase is asked by the system at each boot. Since a recent update of systemd for openSUSE 13.2 the system gives me only 1 or 2 second to enter the passphrase (it's impossible to type it due to the length of the passphrase) before launching the session manager (lxdm in my case). This problem was discussed on the openSUSE forums : https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/512301-13-2-got-bust-by-updates-h... A temporary workaround involves logging as root and downgrading systemd to an older version : zypper install --oldpackage http://download.opensuse.org/update/13.2/x86_64/systemd-210-25.16.1.x86_64.r... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
