https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=232472 Summary: decreased kpowersave functionality on samsung x20 in 10.2 Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: RC 5 Platform: i586 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Mobile Devices AssignedTo: behlert@novell.com ReportedBy: thomas.siedentopf@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de in openSUSE 10.2 I am not longer able to use the full set of powersave functionallity like (for example) in 10.2 on a Samsung X20 notebook. I am no longer able to configure my hardware buttons to initiate an event. This is "Power-Button" for Shutdown, and "Suspend-Button" for Suspend-to-whatever. The configuration dialog is missing in kpowersave. The config methods described in Dannys Blog do not work for these two buttons. The LID-Close also does not work anymore - and - just like above with the buttons - I am not able to configure an event for this. I am attaching dmidecode and hwinfo output. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
