http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=500398 Summary: SUSESans, SUSESansMono, SUSESerif fonts not available Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: volker3204@paradise.net.nz QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.5; Linux) KHTML/3.5.10 (like Gecko) SUSE The SUSE fonts (SUSESans, SUSESansMono, SUSESerif) used to be available in package desktop-data-SuSE-X.Y up to and including 10.0. Although they're only a derivative of Vera and although SUSE may have meant them only for use on the desktop, they were fonts as any other fonts and therefore usable in any document. These documents no longer work properly as the fonts aren't available any longer. This is not only an issue for documents that are still current, and which could be changed to a different font, but especially for printing old documents. The problem exists in every release since 10.2. Could you please make these fonts available again, e.g. in oss as a separate package, for those who have documents using these fonts? Thanks!
