https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=844227 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=844227#c0 Summary: GNOME:Apps: gscan2pdf not installable due to missing dependencies Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: psikodad@gmx.de QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0 I added the repo http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/GNOME:/Apps/openSUSE_12.3/ and installed gscan2pdf. (or use the 1-click-installation at http://software.opensuse.org/package/gscan2pdf?search_term=gscan2pdf) But yast tells me the error message: "nothing provides perl(Gtk2::Ex::Simple::List) needed by gscan2pdf-1.1.3-2.1.x86_:64" Now I added the repo http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/devel:/languages:/perl/openSUSE_12... and installed additionally the packages: perl-Gtk2-Ex-Simple-List perl-Sane perl-Set-IntSpan But gscan2pdf still won't run. These packages are also needed: perl-Readonly perl-Gtk2-ImageView Now gscan2pdf runs, but yast continues to complain with the error message: "nothing provides perl(Gtk::ImageView) needed by gscan2pdf-1.1.3-2.1.x86_:64" (in yast->options->System verification mode is turned on) Maybe it's a typo: Gtk -> Gtk2 => Two issues: 1. Five missing package dependencies 2. yast's error message about perl(Gtk::ImageView) should disappear.
