http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=515091 Summary: netatalk init script provides no start/stop for cnid_metad Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: stefan.muenkner@uni-tuebingen.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=299452) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=299452) patch for the netatalk rc file Since some time ago netatalk provides different methods to store cnids and introduced a cnid_metad to control the database access. In netatalk.conf the cnid_metad can be configured to be run and although the netatalk rc.atalk.suse.tmpl provides the start/stop commands they are missing from the opensuse distribution. Attached is a patch to solve the issue. Otherwise the rc.atalk.suse.tmpl provided by the netatalk developers should be honored in the build process. BTW this applies also to 11.1 AFAIK. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
