https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=460997 Summary: Disabled NTP time synchronization configuration in installer Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: spam@kian.org QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Community User During installation, I can not set time from NTP. I have a working network connection during install. I am installing from the x86_64 DVD. Fairly simple to reproduce, just step through the first few screens of the installer - no installation needed. At the screen you show at http://en.opensuse.org/Installation/11.1_DVD_Install#Step_4:_Set_the_time_.2... I click the "Change" button and get a new page where I can select one of two radio buttons: either set the time "Manually" or "Synchronize with NTP Server". The second choice doesn't react to mouse click nor Alt-S so I can't select it. It may be grayed out (difficult to see). I notice that the screen shot in the link above has a text saying "NTP is configured". FYI, my DHCP server sends the IP of the NTP server as DHCP option 42. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
