This also happens when typing kdesu for other applications such as kwrite. This was submitted 3 years ago in 2011 with no patch in site on bugs.kde.org. I have updated the date to 2014. Other OS i.e. Mac OSX or Windows never have this problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Access Yast 2. In the password field type in the wrong password 3. Repeat one to three times and notice hows the space decreases Actual Results: The default password field reduces in height and length increases when the wrong password entered.
