https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=729394 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=729394#c0 Summary: WINE package description is inaccurate Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: RC 2 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: hendersj@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Just a minor issue, but the package description for WINE states: -- snip -- An MS Windows emulator, consisting of both runtime and source compatibility functions. You can run your MS executables with it and write your Windows programs under Linux and link against the WINE libraries. -- snip -- However, the WINE itself stands for "WINE Is Not an Emulator". Seems a bit odd to describe a program that's self-described as "not an emulator" as being an emulator. This description inconsistency also appears in earlier versions of openSUSE. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
