https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=480890 Summary: In KDE 4.2, Knode spelling corrector puts correction in wrong place. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: PC OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: hacker@scarlet-jade.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009012700 SUSE/3.0.6-1.4 Firefox/3.0.6 When composing a posting in Knode, a mis-spelled word is underlined. A right-click on this word now highlights the area to the left of the word. The first letter is highlighted and the length of the highlighted area corresponds to the length of the word but extends to the left of the first character instead of the right. If an alternate spelling is selected, the replacement spelling is placed in the highlighted area - almost completely inserting the word apart from overwriting the first character. All updates from factory have been installed to date. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open composer in Knode 2.Enter a deliberately mis-spelled word 3.Right-click on the underlined area Actual Results: High-lighted area extends from first character leftwards of word Expected Results: High-lighted area extends from first character rightwards over word -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
