https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=808559 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=808559#c0 Summary: NetworkManager OpenVPN doesn't update resolv.conf Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: thardeck@suse.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de CC: dimstar@opensuse.org Found By: Development Blocker: --- If I established an OpenVPN connection with 12.2 the Networkmanager updated the resolv.conf with the relevant DNS server and removed the vpn entries again after disconnecting. In 12.3 the resolv.conf isn't updated any more after establishing a VPN connection. Because of this most VPNs aren't usable until updating the DNS server manually. I am using the KDE network applet but since I was already using it in 12.2 I think it is a general NetworkManager issue. The latest updates are installed and my system was set up originally with 12.3 Beta 1. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
