When I boot the system using systemd, just the standard installation of 12.1 and I add 3 to the boot command when grub shows me to boot, the system boots without the GUI. So I login in to the console as root and doing my things, I give the command "init 5", which gives me, as expected, the GUI. So I can login as a normal user. In this situation the Networkmanager applet shows that the daemon has not been started. Using a root console, I restart the network.service, but the networkmanager.service is not started, so also that service is started using systemctl, but still the applet does not show a working networkmanager. The network however is working properly, probably because I did setup the wireless access point with enabling it with System Connection. When I inspect /var/log/messages the above mentioned error message is shown around the time of starting the network.service. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
